Saint-Hippolyte is a Canadian municipality in Quebec located in the MRC of La Rivière-du-Nord, in the Laurentides region. It is mainly recognized for its natural riches.

The Hippolytois probably owe their gentility to Canon Hippolyte Moreau (1815-1880), head of Montreal Cathedral and vicar general. In 1864, Mgr Ignace Bourget delegated the latter to choose the location of the first chapel or perhaps to Hippolytus of Rome, the saint of the Catholic Church celebrated on August 13. On November 7, 2009, the parish municipality of Saint-Hippolyte changed its status to that of a municipality.
